Did being the eldest in the family somewhat prepare you to be a mother? Yes. I took over immediately when my brother was born, ha ha! I always loved the holidays with him, and shopping with my mom. I think my mom had been told by her doctor that the best thing was to let the older sibling help, and I took it very seriously. And she always let me help with my younger brother, and that’s why we’re so close today.
Who do you see, or want, Hermes growing up like: [Gossip characters] Nate, Chuck, or Dan?
Dan. Because I think he’s smart…he has good values. He obviously has good taste in women, as he’s dating my daughter!
How is Hermes like on set?
He’s great on set. There’s so much to see. He loves the makeup and hair trailer. He’s always blow-drying everyone’s hair. There’s the little forklift that they use to build the sets—he loves to check that out. And all the trucks and brooms—he loves to sweep. There’s so much that he loves to play with.
Question: I am dying for some Gossip Girl scoop regarding the season finale. –Lara
Ausiello: I’m hearing there will be multiple cliffhangers, one of which may include an appearance by Rufus and Lily’s presumed dead love child.
Question: Any scoop on the Gossip Girl spin-off? Please tell me they’re not calling it Lily. That would be L-A-M-E. –Blake
Ausiello: They’re not calling it Lily; nor will it be Lily of the Valley, which was also rumored. The Valley was discussed but, alas, that was the name of the faux soap on The O.C. That leaves… um… If you’ve got any suggestions, post ‘em in the comments!
Blake Lively was a guest on “The Late Show With David Letterman” on Tuesday night. HQ and MQ pictures are in the gallery, and here’s a video. I think she looked absolutely gorgeous!

Tonight’s C-B kiss (yes, kiss!) on Gossip Girl is wildly hot and happens in the midst of a totally classic Bluck confrontation scene. You could even call it Blucking up against a wall! Truly, if your devotion to the Chair relationship includes any kind of tolerance for “angst,” this is the episode for you. As for you Chuck-Blair hard-liners (you want it and you want it now), the kiss is not the kind of loving reconciliation you’re hoping for. In fact, by the end of the episode, Blair and Nate’s new thing is well underway. Sad face.

Serena decides to throw Jenny Humphrey an intimate party for her sixteenth birthday, but things get out of control when Poppy Lifton (guest star Tamara Feldman) turns the small gathering into a huge social event. In a moment of weakness, Vanessa agrees to help Chuck with a scheme to make Blair jealous, while Vanessa sees an opportunity to make Nate jealous at the same time… Rufus learns that Dan will not receive financial aid at Yale and tries to figure out another way to cover the cost of his education.
