Jessica Szohr has claimed that Gossip Girl has improved her style.

Szohr, who stars as Vanessa in the drama, told Lucky magazine that she has a better understanding of the fashion industry now.

“I’m learning more and more about clothes and designers from being a part of Gossip Girl and living in New York,” she said.

“In fittings now I’m like, ‘I love that Diane von Furstenburg skirt or this Rag & Bone jacket’, whereas before I wouldn’t have recognised those labels.”

Szohr added that she often wants to keep the clothes she wears on the show and admitted that she is a huge fan of Marc Jacobs.

“It’s happened to me so many times,” she explained. “I’ll pick something off the rack and it will inevitably be Marc Jacobs.”
