Happy Birthday to Ed Westwick!! He is turning 23 today! We hope he has a fabulous day!!

Ed Westwick has revealed that he would like Cheryl Cole to appear on Gossip Girl.

The Mirror reports that Westwick, who plays Chuck, would love to meet the X Factor judge.

“I would like to meet Cheryl,” he said. “I’d give her a hip bump. There’s something about the soft Geordie accent on a girl that I really, really like.”

He added: “My dad’s from the north east of England so if Cheryl Cole was to make an appearance on our show, it would be great. I could talk to her about the amount of times I’ve been up to the north east.”

However, Westwick admitted that Cole’s accent could prove to be a problem.

“The American audience probably wouldn’t understand Cheryl Cole,” he said. “I don’t think they understood any of the movie Trainspotting, so they could struggle. We’d have to work something out.”

Gossip Girl stars Ed Westwick and Jessica Szohr have denied that they are back together.

The couple, who broke up in April, were reportedly spotted together in London this week.

Gossip Cop reports that a source close to Westwick has denied a reunion, saying: “They are not back together.”

During a recent interview on Radio 1, Westwick, who plays Chuck Bass on the show, was asked if he would like a girlfriend, to which he replied: “No, too much of a headache.”
